British estate agency network eXp UK has announced wide-ranging adjustments to its remuneration model. For qualifying property agency teams, the ceiling on commissions payable to the network will fall by £6,000. The measure is set to take effect under a newly designed tiered model.
Implementation of the amended terms is scheduled for 1 November 2026. The company is thus granting affiliated partners a long-term transitional period to align their commercial structures with the new system.
New tiered model for self-employed estate agents
At the core of the reform is the introduction of an additional tier known as Premier Teams. This new category will operate alongside the existing structure of standard teams and is specifically aimed at particularly productive units within the organisation.
The eXp UK network is based on cooperation with self-employed agents who operate independently under the platform's umbrella. With the £6,000 reduction in the commission cap, successful teams will retain a higher share of generated agency fees directly within their businesses.
Key points of the realignment
- —Reduction of the commission cap by £6,000 for qualifying units
- —Establishment of the new Premier Teams category alongside Standard Teams
- —Official launch and entry into force of the new remuneration structure on 1 November 2026
With this differentiation, eXp UK is responding to the growing importance of larger agency groups in the UK market. Creating more attractive terms for high-revenue partnerships underlines the effort to retain established broker teams on the platform over the long term and provide incentives for further growth within the existing network.
