New Jersey-based cannabis company Got Your Six is expanding into Manhattan. The licensed retailer has signed a lease for 2,300 square feet of commercial space in the Tribeca neighbourhood. The retail premises are located on the ground floor of the 13-storey luxury residential complex Riverloft Condominiums at 256 West Street, which is also listed under 92 Laight Street.
Corner location at Riverloft Condominiums
The prominent corner space stretches between Laight Street and Vestry Street in direct proximity to Hudson River Park. Got Your Six is taking over the premises of the recently closed veterinary practice Ivy Pets Tribeca. The tenant was founded in 2024 by disabled veteran Freddy Herrera and currently operates a store in Princeton, New Jersey.
With the deal in Lower Manhattan, the company is establishing its new flagship store in the New York market. Daniel Tropp, founder of AEBOV, an advisory firm specialising in commercial and cannabis real estate, represented the tenant in the transaction. According to Tropp, the asking rent for the property was $90 per square foot. The parties involved disclosed no details regarding the agreed lease term.
Brokers involved and local environment
On the landlord side, Elie Cohen and Yaron Cohen of Leviathan Leasing conducted the negotiations. The owner of the property is management company Maujer, which shares the same business address as the Daniel Group, a real estate investor and property manager based in Kew Gardens in the New York borough of Queens.
The immediate surroundings of the future flagship store feature an established tenant mix. Neighbours in the property include fitness providers WundaBar Pilates and Precision Training, as well as fashion label Farm Rio.
